The 12th Colloquium of the DGM Working Group “In Situ 2D and 3D Characterization” will take place in Schwerte, and is hosted by Kammrath & Weiss as part of the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations. DGM, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde e.V, is the German Society for Materials Science.

Towards higher in situ temperatures with dedicated HT-BSE detector: latest advances and characterization

Our workshop at the DGM colloquium "In Situ 2D and 3D Characterization" presents our High-Temperature BSE detector. Its 4Q segmented electrodes with built-in biasing is specially designed for in-situ work.
At the workshop, we will also shed light on some of its latest features, such as voltage bias to filter low energy thermal electrons, insertion/retraction with touch alarm, integrated amplification, and testing data with heaters at high temperature.
