Workshop at mmc2025: How to control scan patterns and data acquisition in TEM, including hardware synchronization and triggers? How to control non-rectangular geometries, and over Python, and across all TEM models? This workshop on TEM scan control will go over the common techniques and questions that come up as researchers and independent developers make their own systems and solutions. Related topics will also be covered, including scan rotation and zoom, scan amplifiers, signal amplifiers, open interfaces, standardization.

Workshop at mmc 2025: point electronic GmbH is offering complete modernizations for a range of SEM types (mainly Zeiss/LEO and Philips/FEI) based on their flexible system concept consisting of specialized, high-performance components. point electronic has been developing and manufacturing these components for more than three decades. Over 200 SEMs have already been modernized in this way, most of them in Europe and the UK.

The SEM will receive modern, user-friendly and intuitive software, low-interference high-speed electronics, improved energy efficiency and new automation made by point electronic. This secures the operation of an existing SEM for more than a decade.
