Application Scientist (m/f/d)

Support and advice for our team and customers, implementation of our microscopy solutions, and optimization according to scientific and technical requirements.

These are your tasks:

Providing technical and application support to our customers in the field of scanning and transmission electron microscopy.
Conducting equipment demonstrations, application tests, and feasibility studies.
Analyzing and processing electron microscopic data.
Handling application-related customer inquiries
Assisting with fault analysis.
Providing technical advice and support to sales, service, and marketing.
Assisting with the preparation of application reports, training materials, and technical documentation.
Presenting technical solutions at trade shows, conferences, and workshops.

This is what defines you:

Master’s degree or diploma in physics, materials science, nanotechnology, electrical engineering, or a comparable field in the natural sciences or engineering.
You have an independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
You have a good understanding of electron optics, detectors, vacuum technology, and signal processing.
You are a team player and willing to work closely with the development, sales, product management, and service teams.
You have a customer-oriented and professional demeanor.
In addition to basic computer skills, you also have a good command of English.
